Edinburgh Napier University was the first information services department in Scotland to meet the Customer Service Excellence standard. Since going live with Primo the Library has received overwhelmingly positive feedback.
The Library at Edinburgh Napier University wanted to provide their users with a unified discovery system that provides content-neutral results which users can refine. Offering exactly that – and much more – Primo was the natural choice for them.
Chris Pinder, Director of Information Services, told us that Edinburgh Napier University takes great pride in developing and improving their customer-focused services. He said, “The implementation of Primo has greatly increased our ability to offer the resource discovery service that our students have been telling us they need”.
According to Malcolm Jones, Head of Learning and Research Services, user feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, in part due to the flexibility of Primo, which enables the Library to continue to refine the interface to match users’ needs more closely.
